Biography
Matthew Scott White, 31, was arrested in connection with a fire set at an Enterprise Rent-A-Car building in St. Paul, MN on May 28, 2020 amid Twin Cities unrest after George Floyd's death. Surveillance video showed White and co-conspirator Jessica White (whose case was dismissed) outside the business; White entered for several minutes; flames were visible behind him as he exited. Pleaded guilty; sentenced to 72 months federal prison.
The Bureau of Prisons records his release on October 23, 2025, completing the 72-month sentence through a Minneapolis residential-reentry placement.
