Biography

Matt Duran was one of the Pacific Northwest anarchists jailed in 2012 for civil contempt after refusing to testify before a federal grand jury investigating May Day protests in Seattle. He was never charged with a crime. Held for more than five months — including stretches in solitary — he was released in February 2013.
