Biography

Maggie Pitocco, a seventeen-year-old picket in the 1926 Passaic textile strike, was sentenced to six months on a disorderly conduct charge for her picket-line activity — one of the young women strikers whose jailings the ILD's Labor Defender reported in 1927. Her case went to appeal.
