Lotfi Raissi

Lotfi Raissi was an Algerian pilot who was arrested at the behest of the FBI by British authorities for his alleged involvement in training the 9/11 hijackers. U.S authorities attempted to extradite Raissi to the United States on charges of lying on his pilot license application for not mentioning he had undergone knee surgery after a tennis accident. Prosecutors claimed the FBI had discovered video evidence on Raissi's computer of him and one of the hijackers together and that phone records proved he had trained them. When the courts asked for this evidence it was revealed that it did not exist and there was no evidence of any kind that Raissi had any connection to the hijackers. He was eventually cleared of all charges.
