Biography

Lonnie C. King Jr. was a leader of the Atlanta student movement (the Committee on Appeal for Human Rights) who organized the October 1960 department-store sit-ins. He was arrested with Martin Luther King Jr. at Rich's Magnolia Room restaurant and tried for trespassing.
