Biography
Joseph Buddenberg is an animal rights activist from Southern California who, along with Nicole Kissane, was involved in anti-fur actions throughout San Diego. She pleaded guilty to vandalizing clothing stores that sold fur and their owners' homes. In other parts of the country, they've also freed animals held in captivity on fur farms, freeing thousands of animals and destroying their breeding records in Idaho, Iowa, Minnesota, Montana, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania. On May 2nd, Joseph was sentenced to two years in prison, two years of supervised release, and about $400,000 in restitution.
He was released on February 7, 2018.
