Biography
A layperson and, at age 17, the youngest of the Silver Spring Three, Jon Bayless (brother of Les Bayless) took part in the May 21, 1969 destruction of several hundred draft records at the Silver Spring, Maryland Selective Service office, mutilating files with blood and paint and ransacking the office before waiting to be arrested. He was charged for his participation in the draft-board action; his specific sentence was not found.
