John Martin

Biography

John Martin, a lumberjack from Seattle, Washington, was convicted at the mass IWW trial in Chicago, sentenced to ten years in prison and fined $30,000. He served in Leavenworth Penitentiary from April 1918 to June 1920 and from May 1921 to November 13, 1922. Martin was released on the condition that he would be deported to Denmark.
