Biography
Puerto Rican political prisoner born April 9, 1953 in Newark, New Jersey. Counselor at Proyecto Palante at Northeastern Illinois University, founding member of the Committee to Free the Five Nationalists, and former national coordinator of the National Committee to Free Puerto Rican Prisoners of War. Testified before the UN Decolonization Committee on Puerto Rico. Convicted of conspiracy related to the 1988 attempt to assist in the escape of Oscar Lopez Rivera; served a four-year sentence at USP Terre Haute.
