Singer-songwriter and co-founder of Musicians United for Safe Energy (MUSE) and the No Nukes concerts. Among the most visible celebrity participants in the September 1981 Diablo Canyon blockade organized by the Abalone Alliance — the largest action in U.S. anti-nuclear movement history with ~1,900 arrests over two weeks. Held at the Cuesta College gymnasium "Hotel Diablo," he performed in Wavy Gravy's "Tornado of Talent" variety show during detention. "I consider my actions to be patriotic."
