Biography
Jack Kimoto was an employee of the Honolulu Record, a progressive weekly, and was among the Hawaii Seven prosecuted under the Smith Act during the McCarthy era. He was convicted in July 1953 of conspiring to advocate the overthrow of the U.S. government.
