Biography

Ivan Harrison Hunter, 28 (at sentencing in 2022), of Boerne, TX, traveled from Texas to Minnesota in May 2020 and met up with other Boogaloo movement members mobilizing in Minneapolis after George Floyd's murder. On May 28, 2020 during rioting near the Minneapolis Police Department's Third Precinct, Hunter fired 13 rounds from an AK-47 into the entryway of the building. He continued to communicate with fellow Boogaloo members including Steven Carrillo (who shot two federal officers in Oakland the same day). Sentenced to 52 months federal prison.
