Biography

Co-founded Liberation News Service in 1967 and helped move it to the Montague Farm in Massachusetts in 1968. Coined / popularized the slogan "No Nukes" around 1973-74 and authored "America Born and Reborn" and (with the MUSE collective) the "No Nukes" book. Co-founder, organizer and media spokesperson for the Clamshell Alliance during the 1976-78 Seabrook actions and helped organize the 1979 MUSE concerts at Madison Square Garden after Three Mile Island.
