Biography

Montague Farm activist who in 1974 helped organize the Alternative Energy Coalition in Montague, Mass., and in 1976 was part of the founding coalition of the Clamshell Alliance. Authored the influential 1979 reference book "No Nukes: Everyone's Guide to Nuclear Power" (South End Press), which became the movement's bible. Since 1985 has lived in Ireland, West Africa and Germany, continuing international ecofeminist and anti-nuclear organizing.
