Biography

Harry E. Winner was a Massachusetts businessman indicted alongside the MIT mathematician Dirk Struik in 1951 under the state sedition law for conspiring to overthrow the government; the charges were later dropped.

Harry E. Winner was one of four Massachusetts defendants indicted under the state anti-Communist 'sedition' law; the indictments were ordered dismissed in 1956 in the wake of the Supreme Court's Nelson ruling striking down state sedition statutes.
