Biography

Frank Fitzgerald was one of the eight "Modesto Boys" — maritime workers framed on a dynamite charge by Standard Oil agents after the 1935 tanker strike near Modesto, California and imprisoned at San Quentin or Folsom; pardons were recommended in 1937.
