Biography
Floyd Lee Corkins II, 29, walked into the Family Research Council offices in DC on August 15, 2012 with a gun and Chick-fil-A sandwiches he planned to smear in victims faces as a political statement opposing the FRCs anti-LGBTQ stances. He shot and wounded a building manager before being subdued. Pleaded guilty to interstate transport of a firearm, assault with intent to kill, and committing an act of terrorism while armed (DC Anti-Terrorism Act of 2002). Sentenced to 300 months federal prison + 5 years supervised release.
