Former Black Panther Party member and UC Berkeley student who spent about four months in New York's Rikers Island jail after being charged with the murder of a bar co-manager; The Black Panther Vol. 15 (1976) reports he acted in self-defense, was framed, and that a defense committee formed around his case.
