Biography

Daniel Burns was one of the St. Patrick's Four — Catholic Worker activists Peter DeMott, Teresa Grady, Clare Grady, and Daniel Burns — who on March 17, 2003, on the eve of the U.S. invasion of Iraq, entered the Ithaca, New York Army Recruiting Station and poured their own blood inside the office in symbolic protest. Burns served six months at MDC Brooklyn for the action.
