Biography
Bob Wirtz was the local secretary of the International Labor Defense in Chicago, prosecuted on criminal-contempt-of-court charges in March 1940 as a co-defendant alongside editor Louis Budenz and ILD national vice-president William L. Patterson, over public protest against a judge's anti-labor injunction.
