Biography
Bill Henry was a 27-year-old Committee for Non-Violent Action pacifist who, with Donald Martin, swam to and boarded the nuclear submarine Ethan Allen on November 22, 1960 at its launching in Groton, Connecticut — the signature act of the CNVA's Polaris Action campaign against the nuclear-missile submarines. He received a one-year sentence and is documented as having served a year at the federal prison in Danbury, Connecticut.
