Four days after the shootout outside his Atlanta store that killed Fulton County Deputy Ricky Kinchen, Imam Jamil Al-Amin — the former H. Rap Brown — was captured in White Hall, Alabama. He maintained his innocence through his 2002 conviction and for the rest of his life; another man's repeated confession was never heard by a jury.
