Black Panther David Hilliard charged with threatening Nixon

Black Panther chief of staff David Hilliard was indicted for threatening President Nixon's life in a Moratorium Day anti-war speech in San Francisco. The charge was a felony carrying a five-year sentence. The case was eventually dismissed on First Amendment grounds.
