MLK writes 'Letter from Birmingham Jail'

Jailed for an Easter weekend desegregation march, Martin Luther King Jr. wrote his 'Letter from Birmingham Jail' on the margins of a smuggled newspaper. The letter became one of the foundational defenses of nonviolent civil disobedience in U.S. history.
