Biography
Viola Tiala was a United Farmers' League member arrested on January 20, 1934 alongside her husband, the league's national secretary Alfred Tiala, during anti-foreclosure resistance at a forced sale in Warsaw (Kosciusko County), Indiana. She was charged with resisting an officer and held under the same $30,000 bail, with the ILD organizing her defense.
