Biography

Thomas Welnicki, age 71, of Rockaway Beach NY, made multiple statements to U.S. Capitol Police and Secret Service in 2021 about a desire to kill former President Donald Trump and 12 unnamed members of Congress, citing a $350,000 reward. Federal prosecutors agreed in December 2022 to defer prosecution for one year and dismiss if Welnicki stays out of trouble.
