Biography
Theodore E. Falatovitch was a conscientious objector from Connecticut imprisoned during World War I. Court-martialed for refusing military service, he was held at Fort Leavenworth. Sentenced to 5 years in prison - reduced to 1. (Documented in the Swarthmore College Peace Collection's World War I Conscientious Objectors database.) Archival note: he enlisted; was Austrian ; interviewed for disloyalty by the Special Bd. on ??; sentenced to 5 years in prison - reduced to 1.5 years; NOT SURE IF HE WAS REALLY A C.O.
