Biography

Terrance Lee Hester Jr., 20, of Tampa, FL was charged with arson after a May 30-31, 2020 protest near a shopping plaza on East Fowler Avenue devolved into civil unrest, looting, and destruction. Video showed Hester tossing a flaming piece of cloth through a broken window of the Champs Sports store; the building was fully engulfed and the plaza suffered ~$1.25 million in damage. Sentenced to 60 months federal prison plus 36 months supervised release.
