Biography

Steve Murphy was an environmentalist activist and vegan political prisoner who wrote of his struggles obtaining equitable food in prison. He was accused of decommissioning a tractor and placing an incendiary device in a housing development construction site in the name of the Earth Liberation Front in Pasadena, CA. He was sentenced to 5 years on April 5, 2010 after pleading guilty and was released in February 2014.
