Biography
Sander Katz was a pacifist and anarchist associated with the postwar libertarian magazine Alternative (published in New York from 1948). A draft resister, he refused to register under the Cold War conscription law and was sentenced to one year and one day in the federal penitentiary — one of the Peacemakers-movement draft refusers of the late 1940s.
