Biography
Samantha Shader, 27, of Brooklyn, NY was arrested on May 31, 2020 after attempting to use Molotov cocktails to damage NYPD vehicles during George Floyd protests. Faced four counts of attempted murder since the targeted NYPD van contained multiple officers; no one was harmed when the device failed to explode. Friend Timothy Amerman was indicted weeks later for providing the bottles. Sentenced to 6 years federal prison plus 3 years supervised release and a mandatory mental health program.
The Bureau of Prisons records her release from FCI Tallahassee on July 9, 2025, completing the 72-month sentence.
