Biography

Roman Pisito was a Spokane-based Filipino member of the Alaska Cannery Workers and ILWU Local 37 who faced denaturalization during the McCarthy-era drive against foreign-born trade unionists. His case sought to strip his U.S. citizenship over his union and alleged Communist activity.
