Biography

Richard Morano is a Pennsylvania activist who traveled to Toronto, Canada to protest the G-20 Summit in June 2010. He was alleged to have broken a police car window and a storefront window during the demonstrations. He returned to the United States but was extradited to Canada in 2014, four years after the events. He was convicted of mischief endangering life and sentenced to 7 months in a Canadian provincial jail; he was also banned from Toronto for 2 years. During his incarceration he was reportedly beaten by other inmates.
