Biography

Philip C. Nies was a Weatherman activist involved in the 1969 Boston English High School confrontation during the group’s school organizing campaign. He spent four days in Charles Street Jail before trial. The resulting misdemeanor assault-and-battery conviction was appealed; the eventual appeal outcome remains unverified.
