Paul Butash was a magazine salesman convicted in twenty minutes by an Angola, Indiana jury under the state's criminal-syndicalism law after a Ku Klux Klan and American Legion entrapment at a staged "student forum"; he had advocated a Farmer-Labor Party. He was sentenced to one to five years.
