Otis Nation was a UCAPAWA / Oklahoma Tenant Farmers Union organizer — whom New Masses called 'our own Tom Joad' — jailed in the 1940 Oklahoma City repression, arrested for meeting with the Communist Party's city secretary as part of the criminal-syndicalism crackdown.
