Biography

Nassim Zerriffi was one of the activists arrested when Santa Cruz police sparked a melee during a May 22, 2002 anti-Iraq-war demonstration that confronted U.S. Representative Sam Farr (D-CA) over his pro-war stance. Zerriffi was charged with resisting arrest and misdemeanor assault on a peace officer. Trial was scheduled for February 28, 2003. (Source: Nuclear Resister Issue #118.)
