Biography

Milton Stone was a member of the delegation of the unemployed that went to the New York City Board of Estimate on 16 October 1930; beaten on Mayor Walker's order and charged with unlawful assembly, who was beaten and permanently scarred. Tried without a jury, the delegates were acquitted.
