Biography
Milka Sablich — known as "Flaming Milka" — was a young picket leader in the 1927–28 Colorado coal miners' strike in the northern Colorado coalfield. Arrested on the picket line, she was jailed for five weeks and refused to accept bail, becoming one of the strike's best-known figures.
