Biography
Mary Sprunger-Froese, with her husband Peter, has lived since 1979 at the Bijou Community, an intentional faith-based community in Colorado Springs working for nonviolence, hospitality, and social justice. She is a longtime war tax resister and is artist-in-residence at RAWtools (which forges donated guns into garden tools), where she leads multi-age programs in storytelling, rap, skits, and de-escalation training.
