Biography
Mario Giletti was an Italian-American anti-fascist who served nine months at the Comstock (Great Meadow) prison in New York for fighting Mussolini's Blackshirts in the streets, and on his release in 1929 was seized by the immigration authorities and held for deportation to Fascist Italy — a case the ILD's Labor Defender fought as doubly unjust.
