Biography
Leo Thompson was a young strike leader arrested for addressing three thousand workers at the St. Clairsville, Ohio courthouse, charged with attempted murder and held on $50,000 bail during the National Miners' Union coal strike that swept Pennsylvania, Ohio and West Virginia in the summer of 1931, when more than a thousand strikers, their wives and children were arrested.
