Biography
Lenni Brenner, known as Lenny Glaser during the Berkeley Free Speech Movement, was a civil-rights and antiwar activist. He spent 39 months in California prison following revocation of probation in a marijuana case. Brenner and fellow activist Michael Rossman attributed the severity of his treatment to intervention by university authorities over his campus political activity.
