Biography

Lee Berry was a Vietnam War veteran and Black Panther Party member who was hospitalized at Bronx Veterans Affairs hospital with severe epilepsy when NYPD took him into custody as one of the Panther 21 on April 2, 1969. His case was severed from the others on medical grounds, and the conspiracy charges were ultimately dismissed without his having stood trial.
