Biography
Khalid Awan, 50, Pakistani foreign national, was indicted October 25, 2006 for providing material support to KCF (Sikh militants seeking a separate Sikh state). At trial, prison phone calls captured him recruiting for KCF and admitting sending hundreds of thousands of dollars to Paramjit Sing Panjwar in Pakistan. 168 months federal prison + 3 years supervised release.
