Biography

Ken Kenroku Sumida was a Japanese American participant in the Heart Mountain draft-resistance movement. After being confined at Heart Mountain during World War II, he was prosecuted for refusing military conscription and imprisoned at the United States Penitentiary at Leavenworth, Kansas.
