Josephine Beach Day Bennett (May 4, 1880 - June 12, 1961), listed in the contemporary records as Mrs. M. Toscan Bennett, was a Hartford, Connecticut member of the National Woman's Party and one of the "Silent Sentinels" imprisoned during the 1917-1919 campaign to picket the Wilson White House for woman suffrage.

She was arrested on January 8, 1919 during a watchfire protest and sentenced the same day to five days in the District Jail, where she took part in the hunger strike. Sources describe her as serving five days; no discharge record has been found, so the nominal release date of January 13 is not entered.
