Biography

John Anthony Borell was an hacktivist with the group Anonymous who in 2012 hacked a number of law enforcement websites including the Utah Chiefs of Police Association in protest of a controversial Utah legislative bill that would have made it a crime to possess 'graffiti paraphernalia' such as spray paint, markers or other equipment commonly used to deface property. He was arrested and plead guilty for this crime and sentenced to 3 years in prison.
