Biography

On July 17, 2020 Jeremy Trapp, 24, was observed by an informant and NYPD officers attempting to cut the brake line of an NYPD van. He had been communicating with an undercover informant about wanting to cut brake lines on police vehicles, and participated in reconnaissance for a bridge he expressed wanting to set on fire — saying current protests weren't violent enough. He stated he wanted to harm police officers and supporters because they were racist and wanted to burn the bridge so that "white supremacists could not use it to get to Brooklyn from Staten Island." Sentenced to 18 months federal prison.
