Biography
Dr. J. Minor Sullivan III was a Black Trenton physician convicted of seven counts of perjury in February 1956 for testifying that the Trenton Six defendants had appeared drugged when they 'confessed' — testimony that helped expose the frame-up. His prosecution capped a years-long vendetta by prosecutor Mario Volpe, and he faced up to seven years.
